who we are

✦ who we are ✦

We're an international family living in Kraków — Anastasia (Ukrainian), Shahin (Azerbaijani), and Anastasia's parents Tetiana and Eugene, who split their time between here and home. Four cats keep things lively, and this autumn we're expecting our first baby boy.

✦ why this blog exists ✦

This started as a way to keep family and friends close, even when we're scattered across countries and time zones. It's less a "blog" in the polished sense and more a running letter home — the kind you'd write slowly, over tea, about ordinary things: a recipe that finally worked, a cat causing chaos, the strange quiet of waiting for someone new to arrive.

We write in small entries, whenever there's something worth saying. No schedule, no pressure — just whatever's true that week.

✦ what you'll find here ✦

  • everyday life and small family moments
  • recipes mama Tetiana is slowly collecting into a real cookbook
  • photos from the gallery, unposed and a little imperfect
  • occasional bigger updates, like getting ready for the baby
  • the family newsletter, sent out now and then

✦ a small ask ✦

If these little entries bring you some warmth, and you'd like to help keep the journal going — a coffee is always appreciated, never expected. Buy Me a Coffee
